Chelsea defeated Wolverhampton 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in the twenty-second round of the Premier League. Tosin Adarabioyo scored in the 24th minute of the first half, while Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke scored in the 15th and 20th minutes of the second half, respectively. The goal for Wolverhampton was by Matt Doherty.

Enzo Fernández, Argentine midfielder of Chelsea, could not participate in the match due to an injury that also kept him out of the last training session. The status of his injury and recovery time have not been officially communicated by the club.

After this victory, Chelsea is in fourth place in the Premier League with 40 points, 10 units behind the leader Liverpool. Upcoming, the team will face Manchester City in an important match for a spot in the Champions League.

On the other hand, the Wolves continue with a negative streak of not winning in four matches and share the same number of points as Ipswich Town, a team in the relegation zone.
