The British newspaper The Telegraph published a report stating that employees of Manchester United have been asked to reconsider the terms of their contracts. This is explained by the club's management trying to reduce overall payroll expenses due to financial difficulties caused by the pandemic.
Specifically, it is mentioned that players and training staff were offered the possibility of a pay cut and reduced salaries. This concerns players who are under contract with the team, as well as those under loan conditions.
