Within just a few hours of this historic win, Godolphin at the same hipodrome in Newmarket saw the team win with the mare 'Sovereignty' under the training of William Haggas, claiming the title of this year's 151st American version of the Kentucky Derby at the Scarlette Downs. Within 24 hours of this event at the same event in Newmarket, the Godolphin team won the '2000 Guineas' race at the English hipodrome with the mare named 'Rolling Cont' under the direction of trainer Appleby.
Similarly, shortly after this victory at the same hipodrome, the mare named 'Good Shire' under the guidance of trainer Brad Cox was awarded first place in the Kentucky Oaks race at the Scarlette Downs.
