According to a statement from the spokesperson, "Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, which lead to school closures, disruption of transport services, and after consultations with the governments of Scotland and Northern Ireland, the bureau will provide an extreme warning today early evening for the population." This came after warnings from meteorologists that the storm 'Aiden' could bring gusts of wind up to 100 miles per hour in areas subject to the weather forecast, on Friday, reports the British newspaper 'Metro'.
