Recently, climate activists in the United Kingdom carried out a series of disruptive actions as part of a campaign against oil companies. This time, two activists from the group 'Just Stop Oil' poured black paint on the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. This took place not far from the Westminster Palace in London.
'We are here because the government continues its living love for the oil industry, even in the face of the climate crisis. We are acting now to force the government to stop supporting the oil lobby,' one of the activists reported.
Representatives of the 'Just Stop Oil' group stated that their action aims to draw attention to the destructive impact of the oil industry on the climate and calls for a transition to more sustainable and ecologically clean energy sources.
