Dubai topped the list, surpassing the Maldives and the Canary Islands, which are among the most popular holiday destinations. The publication noted that many use this time to relax and recharge. The Mirror stated: «The harsh winter cold still prevails as frost waves continue to blanket the United Kingdom. With the holiday season over, we are still spending long, dark nights, yearning for the warmth of summer». The newspaper adds that the weather is ideal for adventures.
