A large fire in a dock for the construction of nuclear submarines, which belongs to the armed company, has engulfed the northwest part of England. Rescuers are battling the blaze, which originated in the middle. As a result of the incident, two people were hospitalized.
According to an official representative of the fire service, "The area of the fire covers approximately four by 15 meters." Firefighters are utilizing all possible measures to extinguish the flames. "We are working on-site and doing everything we can to deal with the fire and prevent its spread," - he added.
About 80 firefighters are involved in combating the blaze. However, due to the vast area of the site, extinguishing the fire has been delayed. One of the hospitalized individuals is reported to be in critical condition.
"This was a very complex task that our colleagues encountered. The area of the fire turned out to be enormous and very dangerous," - said the commander of the rescuers.
