Mercedes Presents W17 Car for 2026 Season

The Mercedes Formula 1 team presented the W17, its livery for the 2026 season, surprising with the few differences compared to the 2025 model. "The new era begins here," was the message Mercedes shared on social media along with several images of the new single-seater. The W17, with which British driver George Russell and Italian driver Kimi Antonelli will seek to fight for the title, is characterized by a predominance of silver and black colors, with details in aquamarine lines. This model is practically identical to the 2025 one, except for some details such as the change from silver to black in its air box, which is the air intake located above the driver's head. After that, it remains almost the same as last year's, with silver predominating at the front and black at the back. Mercedes is one of the most consistent teams in Formula 1, and in this 2026 season, they will seek to fight for both the drivers' and constructors' championships, which they have not won since 2020 (with Hamilton) and 2021, respectively. All set for the Alpine presentation with which Colapinto will race. Alpine will present its A526 with which Argentine Franco Colapinto will race this Friday at 8:30 in the morning (Argentina time). According to the Argentine News Agency, the event will take place on a vessel provided by MSC, Alpine's strategic partner, and will feature selected guests and representatives of main sponsors. For Colapinto, Friday's event will be the first major formal step of a key season in his career: he will start the year under the flashes, but with his focus on what's important, which is to transfer that illusion from the boat to the track and sustain a competitive start when the official calendar gets underway.
