Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp announced yesterday that the team's defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is back to training and is ready to participate in tomorrow's match in the English Premier League against Leicester City after missing the last four games due to injury.
With a three-point lead over the closest competitors, Liverpool could become 20-time champions of the English Premier League tomorrow if Arsenal loses to Ipswich Town and Liverpool beats Leicester, who are in 19th place.
"Every time he is with us on the pitch, I see his greatness as a footballer and his importance for us this season," Klopp said.
With the extension of contracts with Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, fans are now focused on the future of local talent Alexander-Arnold, with talks about a potential move to Real Madrid.
Alexander-Arnold (26 years old) suffered a hamstring injury in the match where his team faced a defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last month.
"Every time he plays and trains with us, he shows his commitment," Klopp noted, emphasizing that it is possible Alexander-Arnold will start the match on the substitutes' bench.
"He worked really hard to come back," the trainer added.
