Thomas Tuchel, head coach of the England national team, has decided to forgo his salary in favor of charitable organizations helping those affected by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. This news was confirmed by Tuchel himself in an interview for the press.
"I am happy to forgo my salary in favor of those who are in real need of assistance. The health and well-being of society is more important than money, and I want to contribute to supporting those who have suffered from this difficult situation," Tuchel emphasized.
The coach also called on other football workers and people in general to show solidarity during this challenging period.
