Wealthy individuals are leaving the United Kingdom, and Bloomberg agency considers this the latest chapter in a series of departures of wealthy figures, coinciding with the country's increase in taxes for high-income and high-wealth individuals. Mohamed Mansour, a prominent donor to the Conservative Party, has moved his residence to Egypt instead of the UK, where he had lived since at least 2016, according to data disclosed to the UK's Companies House registry. The 77-year-old Mansour is considered one of the most prominent donors to the British Conservative Party in recent years, having donated £5 million (approximately $6.7 million) to the party in 2023 after taking on the role of treasurer.
