On Thursday, the UK Foreign Office announced that London is withdrawing the accreditation of one of the Russian diplomats in response to the expulsion of a British diplomat from Russia.
A representative of the UK Foreign Office stated: "We confirm that in response to Russia's actions, we have withdrawn the accreditation of one of the Russian diplomats in the UK. This step was taken in close cooperation with our Western allies."
Additionally, he added that the decision was made after extensive discussions with allies.
