The British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed his support for the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
Sunak met with Zelensky in London and discussed a number of important issues, particularly those related to security and stability in the region. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations between the United Kingdom and Ukraine.
"We support Ukraine in its efforts towards democracy, sovereignty, and prosperity," noted the British Prime Minister.
This statement came in response to the growing tensions surrounding Ukraine and threats from Russia. Zelensky, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support and partnership from the British government.
The President of Ukraine also expressed readiness to cooperate with the United Kingdom in various areas to ensure peace and stability in the region.
