The leader of the British government, Kir Starmer, stated that the United States should support Kyiv in its interests. This position was expressed on the eve of the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Starmer added that the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, does not accept decisions on the Ukrainian conflict independently, and this matter is fully controlled by the Kremlin administration. In addition, he condemned clashes along the lines of engagement between Russian and Ukrainian troops.
"We categorically condemn all actions aimed at increasing tensions in this region, and we continue to insist that all countries adhere to international law and respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine," Starmer stated.
