
On Sunday, the London police announced in a statement that a unit engaged in counter-terrorism had detained all men, among whom were seven Iranians, during raids in various areas of the country. The police reported that the detained men are suspected of terrorist activities related to their alleged connections with Iran. Representatives of human rights organizations noted that the operation was conducted as part of an investigation that has been ongoing since the beginning of the year. One of the police representatives emphasized that these detentions were conducted under the framework of tracking terrorist threats and added that there was no threat to public safety.
