Edinburgh Airport in Scotland has announced the temporary suspension of all arriving and departing flights due to a technical problem with the systems of the air traffic control service provider. According to the flight tracking website «Flightradar24», citing «Eurocontrol», flights to Edinburgh will remain suspended at least until 2:00 PM local time. The airport reported in a post on the «X» platform that it is currently working to resolve the malfunction as quickly as possible. This suspension comes amid a wave of global disruptions in the aviation sector. Earlier, India's largest airline, «IndiGo», canceled more than 400 flights on Friday due to operational challenges, including a shortage of pilots, changes to the winter schedule, and technical failures.
