Gwent Police in the UK have charged four people with the murder of a 17-year-old boy in a village in south Wales. According to Gwent Police, three men aged 18, 24, and 26, and a 24-year-old woman have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Newport Magistrates' Court on Monday, reported British news agency PA Media. The police also stated that a 28-year-old woman from Hereford, who was arrested last Friday, has been released on bail pending further investigation on suspicion of assisting one of the perpetrators. Police noted that their officers went to a property on Lower Francis Street in the village of Abertillery in the Cwmfelinfach area at around 5:45 PM local time (17:45 GMT) last Thursday after receiving reports of an assault on Tristan Shay Kier, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Detective Chief Inspector Jethro Tomkova Griffith said: "We are aware that this investigation has garnered significant attention, but we urge the public not to speculate on the identities of those involved." She added: "We appeal to anyone with information to report it to our officers or contact us in the usual way."
